These terms cover ask.recipes, the recipe service for AI agents at ask.recipes and mcp.ask.recipes, operated by Capsule One B.V., Netherlands ("we"). By connecting an agent to the service you accept them.
What the service is
A server your AI agent connects to for recipes: structured ingredients, steps, times, nutrition where the source published it, the source's own rating, and a link to the original. You can save recipes, upload your own private ones, and create share links. There is no browsing interface; your agent is the interface.
Your account
Sign-in is by email. You are responsible for what happens through agents connected to your account. You must be at least 16. One person, one account, used by you.
Price
The service is free. We may add paid features later; anything free today stays free for existing use or we tell you well in advance.
Recipes are information, not advice
Recipes, ratings and nutrition come from their sources as published and are passed on as-is. We do not test them. Nutrition values are the source's figures, not a lab measurement. Check allergens, food safety and dietary needs yourself. Cooking is on you.
Fair use
Use the service through an agent for your own cooking. Do not scrape, mirror or bulk-export the recipe data, resell access, probe or overload the service, or use it to break the law or someone else's terms. We may rate-limit or close accounts that do.
Your recipes
Recipes you upload stay yours. You give us permission to store them and serve them back to you, and to anyone you create a share link for. We do not publish, train on, or sell your uploads. Do not upload content you have no right to.
Recipe sources
Every served recipe credits and links to its source. If you are a source and want a recipe or a site removed, email [email protected] and we remove it.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. We aim for it to be up but promise no uptime. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any loss arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it, which today is nothing. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence.
Ending things
You can stop at any time; email us to delete the account. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms, and can discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes and material changes are announced on the site first. Dutch law applies; disputes go to the courts of the Netherlands.
