Tell your AI who is eating, which nights you cook and what the week should include. It runs one search per night with those rules, checks what you cooked recently so the week does not repeat it, and gives you one list of recipes with links to their sources.

Plan dinners Monday to Friday for two adults and three children. Three vegetarian, one chicken, one fish. Nothing over 60 minutes, nothing we cooked in the last two weeks.
In Claude it is also in the + menu under ask.recipes: Plan my week
What happens
Recent dinners first. The agent reads what you marked as cooked, so last week's lasagna stays out.
One search per night. "One chicken" is a search for recipes whose main protein is chicken, so chicken stock in a soup does not count. Vegetarian nights use the vegetarian filter.
Sized for the table. With five or more eating, stews, bakes and tray dinners rank ahead of dishes cooked one portion at a time.
No repeats inside the week. Each search leaves out the main ingredients the week already has.
Searches from 26 October 2026 against the live server. The wording of the agent's replies varies; the recipes, times and ratings are as served. The shopping list is the agent's sum of the five recipes scaled to five people.

Onions, peppers and parsley come up in more than one recipe and are added up. The fajita recipe does not say how many it serves, so its two chicken breasts are as published: buy a third if the children eat like adults.
Good to know
Say "we cooked the lentils" after dinner. It goes into your history and the next plan leaves it out.
Red meat is beef, pork or lamb. "One red meat night" searches all three.
Your saved recipes first. Say "use my saved recipes where you can" and the agent looks in your cookbooks before searching.
Cook once, eat twice. Ask for a Sunday dish that also covers Monday. Stews and bakes come first when more people are eating, and those keep.
Rules can exclude too. "Two fish nights, no salmon" or "nothing with Brussels sprouts this week" is one sentence in the same ask.
